Following rumors that the band would headline Glastonbury last summer, Pulp has confirmed that it shall reform for 2011 festival dates. The dates will include the Primavera Sound in Barcelona in May and the Wireless Festival at London's Hyde Park in July. It will be the first time the band has played a festival since announcing an "indefinite hiatus" in 2002.

Pulp's most stable and successful line-up consisted of Jarvis Cocker (vocals), Mark Webber (guitar), Russell Senior (guitar), Steve Mackey (bass), Candida Doyle (keyboard), and Nick Bands (drums). This line-up last shared a stage together in 1996. "Pulp have decided to get together and play some concerts next summer. The shows will involve all the original members of the band and they will be playing songs from all periods of their career. (Yes, that means they'll be playing your favourites)," the band's statement said. "In the meantime, ask yourself this: 'Do You Remember The First Time?' Thank you for your attention."

Cocker previously fueled rumors of a Glastonbury 2010 reunion in an interview with the People in 2009. "Glastonbury means an awful lot to me, I would love to play there again. We've talked about it, there we go, there'll be a band reunion," Cocker said.
