Heavy Date for Florence's Twilight SingleOn November 15th Florence + the Machine will release the single "Heavy In Your Arms."

The track is a highlight of both this year's festival season and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series.

On the official website of Florence + the Machine, singer Florence Welch says, “'Heavy In Your Arms' I suppose is about the weight of love, and how sometimes it can be a burden between two people. I felt this was a strong theme in the Twilight series, is someone being rescued or are they being condemned? And is the love you carry bringing you down."

She continues, "I recorded it with Paul [Epworth] one evening, using a lot of strange reversed vocal samples and big hip hop piano. It's basically inspired by 90's hip hop, and gospel choirs, like most of my songs.”

Former featured band Brother has announced that its debut single "Darling Buds of May" is due for official release on February 28th next year.

Brother announced the news in an email from Lee (Leonard Newell) to fans signed up to the band's "mailing list conga."

"We’ve re-recorded this with our favorite producer Stephen Street," Newell explained. "We’re just looking at designs for a limited edition vinyl. Keep your eyes peeled for that. You can pre-order it at Rough Trade now." Stephen Street is best known for his work with The Smiths and Blur.

Newell also wrote about the band's eagerly anticipated debut album. "We've just finished pre production for our album with our good friend Cam Blackwood which has been nothing short of licious," Newell revealed. "We're recording the real thing in January with Stephen and you will hear it shortly after. It's going to be an outrage."

A new video has been posted on the band's website, featuring a live performance at the Met Bar in London. The video can be viewed {rokbox title=|Brother Live at the Met Bar :: Indie Rock and Roll Radio| text=|here| size=|fullscreen| album=|default|}images/stories/Brother - Live at the Met Bar.flv&autostart=true{/rokbox}.
